Reclaimed Stories
Flakoll Gallery, North Dakota State University
February 2025, Fargo, ND
Reclaimed Stories is a collection of sculptural ceramics that invites viewers into a world of curiosity and discovery. Tina Opp uses hand made ceramic collections, along with repurposed wood and scrap metal, to ruminate on her studies of both natural and human-made worlds. The pieces are inspired by the forms and textures of found objects, and fueled by her fascination with the hidden histories that they contain. This exhibition encourages a sense of joy in the act of exploration, inviting viewers to imagine stories that can be found in the forgotten.
